I started out in Palos, a wealthy Chicago suburb, back in 2000. I really prefer my school to working out there. The principal was incompetent, the parents ran the school and all believed their child was pefect, teachers got calls when they gave kids an A- instead of an A, and the petty gossiping among the faculty and even administration was sickening. That said, a big bureaucracy like Chicago finds a lot of ways for me to waste my time instead of teaching.
