Clip to ScrapBook
It's my experience that most school districts have some kind of dumb requirements that don't directly serve the students. However, they are nowhere NEAR as frequent and pointless as those found in CPS. I'm a highly qualified,
motivated teacher and although I live in the city of Chicago, I made the choice to commute 45-60 minutes each day to teach in the suburbs because, basically, it's just less crap to deal w/ than CPS doles out.

I could go on and on about the nonsense that comes out of CPS, but it's just too infuriating. After all, the kids in the big-city districts are the ones who need the best teachers!

They need the teachers who are ambitious and driven, and at times even experimental. Big applause to all of you who teach in CPS or similar districts! Way to fight the good fight!
