Catholic Schools
By Amanda K.

Clip to ScrapBook
The policies of Catholic schools are set by each individual diocese. It is likely that Spokane and Seattle are in different dioceses if they have different policies. So, it wouldn't matter if they were in the same state.

I
don't know how it is in Washington, but here in California, Catholic schools are really hurting for teachers. I don't think it would hurt to make an appointment with the diocesan director of education, show him/her your resume and letters of rec, explain that you have sub. taught in other areas, and ask if they could possibly let you in. Plus, perhaps if you offered to show that
you were working on a credential, one class at a time, or something, they would be willing to accept you. I know that is done here with full time teachers, even though they are technically required to be fully credentialed.
