Don't press that button
By Coach

Clip to ScrapBook
An unstable person with a weapon at school IS a serious threat. And if you haven't thanked the cop, counselor, and others who came to your room so quickly after you called them, you should. I am a member of my campus' "take-down" team as I call it, although the actual name of it is way more politically correct and sounds all touchy feely. Our job is to enter the room, get the student, weapon and secure the classroom QUICKLY. If you wanted a different result, try escorting the teen to the counselor office instead of hitting the panic button.
