End of the day
By Calm

Clip to ScrapBook
You have received some great advice from the above posters. My advice is to start silent reading when they first come. After five mins. call on different ones to their jobs. If they talk while doing their tell them to go sit and read. As for the bathroom take the class before you come in from break. I would also have a discussion Monday morning about their behavior at the end of the day. Give them your expectations and stick to it. Do not apoligize for your out brust. You need to teach them how to act at the end of the day. I teach 4th grade and after break they go to the bathroom and come into and start reading until I dismiss them. I tell them I dismiss them not the bell. By the way I do play calming music. Good luck and I hope this helps.
