I'd say go ahead and have the party. Public elementary school and brownies/girl scouts celebrated all kinds of Christian holidays when I was in school (and this was already the late seventies), and I usually just didn't attend them. It didn't scar me for life. The little girl will live with one less party in her life (one fewer party?).
