Another variation of the stoplight

This is my first year teaching Kindergarten. The system I use is: I put self-stick library pockets on poster board. In each pocket I put an index card and a cute sticker at the top of each card. I write the children's names on the index cards. Every child starts every day with the sticker showing. If a rule is not followed I first give a verbal warning. If a child does not follow a rule a second time, he is told to go "turn the card over" in his pocket. If a rule is broken a third time (3 strikes)in one day, the child is told to take the card out and put it on my desk. I then have a record of who misbehaved and can record it later and send a note home or call.
