grouping
By Donna

Clip to ScrapBook
Earlene, good question. The guided reading groups are by ability but in my room, the center groups are flexible. This way, I am able to pull the guided reading groups and still leave some of the center group intact. Also, I am able to change the guided reading groups as childrens' reading ability improves without changing my center groups. I kept the center grouping the same all year. Good luck!
