Rubrics on Walls

Yes they are. They are completely useless on the wall. Though I teach 7th grade social studies I now have a math rubric on my wall with smiley faces for good job and frowns for bad. It has absolutely no relation on what goes on in my room and is in no way interchangeable with what I do or grade appropriate for my room. Still, I'm sure somehow this is making my kids learn. Yay kids!
