Happened at my school too!

Sorry this happened.Makes you wonder who was in your building.
In a school where I worked the teacher across the hall from me had her debit card taken from her purse. It was during parent-teacher conference day.The only
people in the school were teachers, staff and parents. They went to K mart with the stolen card and bought $200 worth of stuff. When that found out at the checkout that there was still around $300 left on the debit card they went back in and bought more. They spent everything. She found out because she called the police and they did a trace on the card. They even found out what type of stuff
was bought. It had to have been a parent who came for a conference. We do not spend all day in out rooms.Someone must have gone into her room when she was on a break. Because of this I always lock my purse in a secure place and have the key in my pocket.I also lock the classroom door when I'm going to be gone for any length of time-lunch.I's terrible that someone went into a locked classroom and stole your purse. I hope the police can solve this so you will feel secure about leaving things in your room.
