It's normal to be nervous on your first day. But after all the kids get there and you introduce yourself you will find that it's not so bad. During the assembly, the main thing is to sit with them and make sure none of them goof off. I would bring some kinda treat or reward and tell them before you go that if they are good they will be rewarded. Good Luck!
