Advice to any new substitute teacher
By DM

Clip to ScrapBook
As a nervous new substitute, I sat in on different classes at various grade levels to see how the classes were organized and to gain insight about teacher expectations. I usually stayed at least a couple of hours. This year,as I venture into new grade levels, I'm doing the same thing. This is always very informative and builds my confidence.

The school secretary is the person who sets this up and, I've found, is always willing to do so. The teachers welcome my interest and several times have requested me as their substitute.
