Well, this is tricky. I am a 4th year teacher and had a portfolio organized similar to one of the previous posters with the roman numerals, however I am in the middle of a masters class that requires a portfolio as a final.| We were told that your portfolio should be organized according to your state standards. I am in DE and found my standards listed on the Delaware state education web page. So you could start with your states page. Then you take those 10-12 standards and you put two or three examples of how you can teach to that standard into that catorgory. This way you can still show off lesson | | plans, photos, student work, etc. One of our required books was How to Develop a Professional Portfolio: A Manual for Teachers, Third Edition this explains how to organize according to your standards... cherylyn e-mail me if you have any questions. cherryangellhotmail.com
