hitting
By Linda

Clip to ScrapBook
I think that you have too much of an age difference in your children. I know that you may not have control over that. This hitter may make the mistake of hitting a larger five year old and meet his match.
It appears that
this child does not know how to express feelings. You need to let this child know that it is ok to get frustrated or angry but to express it in a different way. You could try providing him with an angry place to sit when he gets angry or something else that he could hit. Ex. A large empty box. You will probably see these signs subside when the child becomes more verbal.
Have you
considered why the child is not verbalizing? Is there a speech problem or hearing problem. The parents may want to consider a complete physical with their pediatrician.
