I am a Behavior Specialist with Head Start and let me tell you, Head Start teachers are the greatest! The classes are a lot of fun and very active. It has been shown that lower income children who attend Head Start are more likely to attend college. This says to me that Pre-K teachers are very important, so if you are thinking of going into public pre-k, go for it!!
