That is so sweet! I think that's when you know you're doing a great job...the kiddos want to be with you.

Last year I had a great class and sobbed on the last day of school knowing how much I would miss seeing them every day. The first day of school this year, before the bell, I had 5 or 6 boys from last year in my room talking about everything under the sun. Then, the parents of my new students started to come in. I literally had to kick last year's boys out of my room by telling them that they could talk to me at recess. It sure set the new parents at ease!
