the words right out of my post! Class books are GREAT gifts to give to a child who is moving. It's always nice to have each child write a letter to the student moving about fun times they had together, or something to remember, or telling why they like that child and what they hope for the child's new home and school. It's also nice for each child to add a photo and their address to their letters. Have the class dedicate the book to leaving child, laminate, bind into a book, and have someone in the class present it the day the child leaves.
