might be able to help

Tiffany-
I was reading your "Frustrated" and may be able to help- I also worked in a before and afterschool rec program for 3 years- and I know how the disorganization can make you crazy (along with kids)-- at my sight,
our leaders (4 of us) implemented "clubs" we had craft club, homework club, sports club, nature club-- get creative- we had different days assigned to different clubs- this split the big group up into 2 of 3 smaller groups which made management much easier- we were lucky to have enough staff members to do this- hopefully you have the same experience- let me know if this helps- I know
how frustrating it can be- have you implemented a behavior plan? We had "Starbucks" that they got when they were good (individually) on Fridays they could buy things (candy, pencils, free-time) with their starbucks.

Hope that helps-
Good Luck!

Anna
