Recognition, NOT Rewards

Please please please do not reinforce with tangible rewards at this stage!!!! Your students need to learn and practice the expected behavior first and get LOTS of verbal praise/positive reinforcements right now. Give rewards later, and not on a regular basis, because they will come to think their good behavior is required to earn a treat.
