A little knowledge

What I find funny about those parents who are so scared of Halloween's pagan past, is that they don't understand that's where most Christian holidays come from. Easter was scheduled around one of these holidays and the Christmas tree was co-opted from another. I can understand a child not wanting to celebrate Halloween, but I get irritated when they then won't tolerate a Harvest party or something else in it's place.
