Sick children

I teach elementary K-2 and usually when a student complains to me that he/she doesn't feel well, I will fill of their forehead and if they don't feel hot then I will tell them to try and tough it out for awhile. Because where I work, they won't let students go home unless they have a fever and whenever I send one to the nurse, she usually sends the student back with a piece of paper stating whether or not the student has a fever. That nurse should not have yelled at you. That was uncalled for. Good luck in the future.
