Thank you, I think what you said is true. You don't need to know all of the names to make sure students walk and don't run into the parking lot or road.

Besides, don't subs have a teaching certificate also? And, you are still an employee of the district. If they trust you enough to work alone with children in the classroom all day then you should not be much of a liability helping with duty schedules.
