be careful
By Connie

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi,

I assume you are not comfortable with your students' religous leanings. Be careful to teach facts and do not ask them to participate in any ceremonies which is something Christians should not do.

Also, when my daughter was in high school, her teacher had them make posters to promote various religions which I consider offensive. It was to be a marketing advertisement for Buddhism. I let her do it, but talked to my daughter about the topic and helped to strengthen her own faith.

Don't assume that children raised in conservative Christianity understand the basics of their own religion, but be cautious that YOU are well grounded.
Connie
