non-fiction lessons
By vana

Clip to ScrapBook
Scholastic also has 2 books out I think they are just called Teaching Non-Fiction. I can check the title when I get to school. One is for 1-3 and one is for 4-6. Lesson Plans, transparencies, additional stories and practice for students are all included. This one source could easily be your lesson plans for the year then supplement practice lessons with picture books or selections from your basal if you have one.
