"What can I do now?"
By Jaime Kurtz

Clip to ScrapBook
I just went to a workshop this past Thursday and we came up with some good ideas on what the children could "do now" when they are finished with thier assignments. I have a song book, that I teach to my children. Every
week is another song that they learn. It could be from numbers to colors, to seasons to holidays anything that you feel is important for your children to learn. Inside this song book, I also have poems that we read and cheers that we do. I have made every student a book. It is a folder and inside the folder are all the songs, poems and cheers. When they are finished with thier work,
they are to get out the "what can I do now folder" and read the book. You could also put extra activities in the folder that you feel are appropriate for each child. This helps with the flow of the morning so not every child is coming up to you asking you "what they can do now". Hopes this makes sense and works.
