Just a note....

Although I agree with the majority of your post, your statement regarding "3rd husbands" rubbed me the wrong way. Not every woman who is not still married to her 1st husband is in that situation because of "loose morals." My 1st husband left me with an infant, and I never heard from him again, and my 2nd husband was killed in a motorcycle accident. I feel blessed, at my age, to have found husband #3. Are my morals loose? NO! And I would hardly call my family "dysfunctional." I prefer the term "blended." Be careful what you write. Not everyone fits your label.
