It depends on the school
By Erika

Clip to ScrapBook
I've been well accepted in the different schools that I have taught in the past year. Some schools are better than others of course. I pick the schools that are grateful that I am there and I decline the schools that don't show me respect or give me any support.

Many times the absences don't get filled. There is a sub shortage and they are grateful to get a qualified teacher in especially on short notice.

I would suggest finding a school or even district that is appreciative of their substitute teachers. Remember that your job is valuable and if they can't see that, then they don't deserve to have you. I am sorry about your situation.
