Teaching the Continents

My grade each takes a continent and we teach about that one. If you are responsible for all 7, why not make it a year long study? Thekids could do simple research projects and present them to one another, you could have food festivals for each continent at the end of each study, etc. You could incorporate all kinds of literature as well and lots of activities that are hands on and help the children relate to places they have not been to.
