job sharing

I job shared for 6 years where my partner and I worked half weeks. She worked Mon. Tues. I worked Thurs. Fri. and we traded off every other Weds. This worked wonderfully well. Being there full days is what helps the students bond, I think. We never gave the parents or the administration anything to worry about because we assured them that we would meet or exceed deadlines and that everything important concerning the children would be shared between us.
