open court

The school I work at has used Open Court forever. This year we were forced to swutch to Rigby's guided reading program. Many of the teachers I work with, including myself, are having a HARD time with this. We feel that both programs have merit and have found that our children need the phonics instruction that Open Court offers. We now present the Open Court phonics, then move into the Rigby guided reading groups, even though we are not suposed to be using ANY Open Court now.
