I suggest that you go for a home visit and go see if you or your principal could... balance your checkbooks in a house of screaming kids? How about sleep at night? Your 2nd grader doesn't care if she misses recess because she is tired from lack of sleep, which might also explain why she can't concentrate on her homework in study hall. Give her a pillow and blanket to take to study hall as a reward and see if she's willing to work for a 20 minute nap during recess. Poor, tired kiddo
