Clip to ScrapBook
Believe me, everyone knows this child's reputation. This is why they are all offering you their sympathy.

The Assistant Principal would have reported any "bad news" to you if it involved you. Suggest a meeting with the
AP, parent, and little brat and design a "contract" stating expected behaviors and consequences if these behaviors are not met. In addition, think of reward incentives so that it "balances out." Do NOT lose sleep over this little brat. It's not worth it.

As far as the school newspaper, I did one. I used a very, very simple program called, "Home Essentials 98." It's very simple. If you

are doing a newsletter, have people who write their own articles, e-mail them to your school computer, and simply "copy and paste." If you do not know how to use "clip art" you can ask your computer tech or simply use stickers instead. It's not difficult at all and is actually a compliment from the principal who sees you as creative and responsible.

Good luck to you. I know when I'm "frazzled," I take a day off - a "mental health day." Don't let this get you down. It's just not worth it.
