Clip to ScrapBook
I know a teacher who taught for 30 some years. If I'm lucky, one day I'll be half the teacher she was. She was fantastic. In fact, she was my brother-in-law's teacher when he was in 3rd grade! A parent actually tried to sue her because the mom thought she wasn't a good teacher. PLEASE!!! Needless to say, this child had several learning disabilities. The teacher tried to address this with the mom, but it fell on deaf ears. And worse yet, this teacher is a nun! How low can you get? Besides, how much money could you get from a nun, anyway? A couple years later this teacher retired, is still loved by students and colleagues, and regularly attends our faculty parties. Relax. She would be in that office complaining no matter who her teacher is.
