I am not a special ed teacher but I have had a number of kids in my class with IEPs. Some have received resource support, some have have had personal aides, some have received OT, and one received PT. Meeting your child's educational needs is, from what I understand, the law. The only thing is that it may mean that your child is placed in a school outside of your district.

Someone earlier in the thread suggested an advocate. That may be your best bet. Schools tend to find a way to compromise when they are afraid of bad publicity or a lawsuit.
