title or mom

Clip to ScrapBook
I don't have kids, but quite a few of the teachers at my school have kids (ages 3-13) that attend there as well. They all have their kids call them by their title while at school. For the younger ones, it takes some getting used to, but they get the hang of it. The ones in primary grades seem to think it's kind of fun to call their parents "Mr. ______" or "Mrs. _______", and the ones in intermediate don't even think about it anymore. My personal opinion is to go with being called by your title, because it helps develop a sense that you are treating all the kids equally.
