Clip to ScrapBook
I place cards on large rings. I place words that are covered through phonics review such as (ap) or (at)etc ending words and as more are intorduced I give the students charts to sort their sounds. In the beginning of the year, I provide them with charts with ending sounds. Then as different vowels and phonics rules are presented I have them sort on a vowel chart with different categories for long and short vowels. I hope that this helps. ALso it is a good idea to have a list prepared each week of the words you want to add and have aparent volunteer make them up for you.
