Clip to ScrapBook
I don't know what grade you teach. I teach sixth and have my students peer edit. Once they finalize a draft, after they have revised and edited it themselves, my students are required to get their essay edited by two other students. Each student who edits their paper puts their initials on the top of whoever's paper they edit. That way if errors slip by them, I know that three students have overlooked the error. I have also told them that if they continually overlook errors, points can be deducted from all three. It seems to have helped my kids, but mine are older and more responsible. Hope that helps a little.
