I can "sooo" identify with your feelings! After several interviews that were unproductive, I asked some established teachers what they would say and then I wrote out what my reply would be until I thought it was somewhat
intelligent and showed it to those trusted teachers. I gratefully received their input and "tweaked" my written reply some more and when they said it looked good, I pretty much memorized it. I also had my trusted teacher friends give me a "mock interview," which was easy for them as they had participated in interviews as an interviewer before. They gave me honest feedback and told me
how to phrase my replies so that I was getting across who I was and what my philosphy of education was. This put me at ease and got me the job I have today. The interviewer said he liked what he heard.
