Math games
By Susan Corcoran

Clip to ScrapBook
Take a deck of regular playing cards and have the students pair up. Take out the face cards. Students divide the deck evenly. Each turns over two cards. The player with the highest sum wins. It is like the card game War. The winner of the hand takes all the cards played that hand. Each player has to then write down the addition problems of the hand. It works well.
