classifying books

Clip to ScrapBook
I use the Scholastic website to level my books. They level using the Guy Su Pinnel levels and I think the lexile levels. If you go to their website, scholastic.com, find where it says reading counts. Go to the resources for reading counts and you will see the e-catalog. When you click on that, the quick find will come up on the left side of the page. You can type in the name of the book and the author and if they have it, a list will come up. Click on the book and a description of the book will come up along with the levels. Guy Su Pinnel and Irene Fountas also have books for leveling with a huge list. One is for primary and the other is for intermediate. Hope this helps.
