Secretary
By Amanda K.

Clip to ScrapBook
Yes, this theory about the secretary trying to shield her from a principal who is not in the mood is entirely possible. Our secretary is very good at doing just that, and we are very grateful to her.

That being said, I was taught in ed. administration school to be very supportive of new teachers and this principal's actions are deplorable, in my opinion.

I think that the posts about getting the TEs and trying to determine if there is a mentor teacher had good advice. Perhaps there is a way for the original poster to leave a message for one of the other teachers at her grade level to call her. Or, maybe she could ask the secretary when it would be a good time to talk to the principal, or even make an appointment/leave a message for her.
