bulletin boards used to be fun!

Thank you, G, for your detailed and thorough response to my post on bulletin boards. Your explanations are right on the money. I teach in New York City (the Bronx) and so the guidelines come from our region, not just the principal. It is hard to find room on the bulletin board for children's work with all the extras that are required.
I haven't heard about covering only 25% of a wall. I suppose you could hang things from the ceiling as a way around that.
I hope other teachers respond. I like to know what other policies are!
