Some schools prefer that students limit field trips so here are activities that do not require students leaving school. Have a can food drive for the local Food Pantry or Soup Kitchen Have students make and send holiday cards to senior citizens.Call a senior citizen home,
church group or nursing home and ask activities director for a list of names.Have students make holiday decorations for dining room at senior center, nursing home etc. Contact USO and write letters to our soldiers overseas. Make anti litters bags. Have students decorate brown bags and hand them out for Earth Day Call town |

or county and adopt a park for a day. Have kids pick up litter.Kids can have a brown bag picnic lunches at park. Try to pick a park in walking distance.Have a beautify the school grounds campaign. Students can pick up litter, rake and plant flowers.Keep flowers water and weeded throughout the year. Have kids make and sell some type of craft to make the money for the school yard beautification.Buying flowers etc.
