Sleeping Ugly

I just put together a short (3 day) unit on this for a continuing education class that I took this summer. I have to admit that the lesson plans are NOT how I would write them up, but I followed the order my instructor required.

LOL One of those great moments of teaching: Just last week we were discussing major events of that story focusing on sequencing, and I was having them go back to the story to "prove their point." One of the students said that the prince and Jane were not married. As I quickly looked back in the story, she was right!

The story simply says that he said he loved her and they lived happily ever after...and had 3 kids! This is about the 4th year that I've used that story and the first year that anyone noticed it. Including me. I quickly kept moving on!
