I'm curious, too

I'm in a similar situation and I like the challenge box. Are the activities research based projects, extra work on a higher level, poster projects? I'm trying to figure out how I can do this. Also, how do you challenge students without "labeling" them? I wouldn't want to say "My GT kids need to do..." Just wondering.
