I thought I had it bad
By Sarah

Clip to ScrapBook
I guess the grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence. I am shocked that our schools are in such bad shape. You would think that being a world power we could afford to provide a basic education in our country.
The teacher tax in my state was revoked. It feels like a slap in the face. I spend all this money on my classroom. Sometimes I just want to throw my hands up in the air and say, "fine explain to me how I should teach writing without pencils or paper." Perhaps I should just tear out the tiles and we all could write with a stick in the mud. I have heard so many times how funding
the schools does not effect test scores. Well if that is the case then tax dollars from wealthier neighborhoods should go towards our broken down schools - what do they need the money for. It makes me sick. Am I a sucker? I keep pouring my hard earned money to pay for things that anyone with common sense would see is necessary. What about the union? What is the union doing?
