I just finished student teaching this spring (1st grade) and can I just say I know EXACTALLY how you feel. I was so nervous about doing the right thing that I lost sight of what really mattered... The KIDS! You will graduate and you will get a job eventually but let this be a time to figure out your style of teaching and try new things. The best piece of advice I have ever recieved was to TAKE RISKS. It may be scary but if you are never willing to put yourself out there then you will never become a better teacher. I hope this helps... and remember, they are going to love you!
