Hi, this is also a dilemma for me every year. I am a reading teacher and really try to make up cute boards as I do leave them up most of the year. Anyway, the one I just put up goes like this: ARE YOU BOARD?
A' tack a book...
Procedure:1. I made my bulletin board like a clip board 2. I laminated all sorts of types of genres. Like:Non-Fiction,Fiction, Mystery, Poetry,etc. These are colorful and I put graphics on them. 3. I bought HUGE tacks in Staples and pinned each genre card to a store bought package of ready made books and put them all over the board. 4. Oh, I also hung up in one corner | |
a real brown clip board.
It came really cute!!!! Also, it has a homophone and inner meaning with the word A'tack and that is where the big tacks come in.
