I have a "time out" spot. I make sure children know what the rules are, and expectations are......then if anyone breaks ANY rules they are told to "take a break". Children go to the time out and return when they are ready to rejoin the group. Time out time is made up with me at recess, when we talk about why they went there and make a plan for success. I teach grade 5.
