If you click above on the archive page and then type in Travel Theme, you will get lots of ideas. (BusyBee's is the BEST!) I am doing this theme right now, too.

For the good work board I have a cartoon semi-truck and driver with the phrase"That's a good job, good buddy, 10-4." The class thinks this is hilarious and we even have gone so far as to do the horn sound when we posted our first spelling tests last week. Even ten year olds like to have a great sense of humor!
